LG announced this afternoon something that many customers have been waiting for, and also something that has been observed additional very recently. An update to the company's more popular phones consisting of the Android 2.3/Gingerbread are being sent out across Europe, and Optimus 2X is one of the phones that are on the list.
Through its Facebook page LG wanted to express their appreciation to all pending Optimus-owners who have long awaited update, Gingerbread, and would also mention that it is taking all possible measures that things will go faster next time.
The update applies three models from the Optimus series, and one of them will be rolled out as early as tomorrow (November 1) - then only for the Optimus 2X. The owner of Optimus 3D and Optimus Black, who is the other models covered, must unfortunately wait until the latter part of November to get their dose of ginger. Optimus 3D gets its during the week commencing the 21st, and Optimus Black partake of all the first week after the 28th
