Panasonic has introduced a new industrial tablet Toughbook CF-D1 with Windows 7. This device is fortified with a 13.3-inch touch screen, whose resolution is 1366 x 768 pixels. The screen is resistive, you can manage it with stylus or finger, and, even with gloves on. The screen brightness is high - 400 cd / m ², but on request it can be increased up to 1000 cd / m ². Panasonic Toughbook CF-D1 based on the processor Intel Core i5-2520M (2,5 GHz), a hard disk 320 GB, Wi-Fi adapter and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 3G (optional) and GPS (optional). Also, the model can provide the camera - 3 megapixel on the back or a 1.3-megapixel front, but it is an option to order. Panasonic Toughbook CF-D1 is equipped with a modular unit, allowing the customer to install the required interfaces such as serial RS-232 or output VGA, and a second slot LAN (RJ-45) or secure socket USB. The device can operate without recharging the battery up to 9 hours, withstand shock (falling from 90 cm), and vibratory loads, moisture and dust (IP65), as well as the effects of low and high temperatures. According to the manufacturer, this solution will work in industry, services, rescue, law enforcement agencies and for any activity in harsh environments. Release of Panasonic Toughbook CF-D1 in the CIS is scheduled for the first quarter of 2012.
