Operator VimpelCom ("Beeline" brand) and Cyta announced the direct connection of their networks and international long distance service. This collaboration will enable VimpelCom to provide its subscribers to make calls to all fixed and mobile numbers of the operators of Cyprus, as well as to the numbers in roaming in Cyprus subscribers directly, bypassing the technical means of the third operator, providing high quality service and competitive prices. It is planned that the partnership with Cyta will "VimpelCom" miss significant amounts of international and domestic long-distance traffic directly, without the participation of transit operators, which, in turn, will offer its customers high quality services, as well as the most favorable and comfortable conditions for dialogue. At the end of VimpelCom today made more than 1500 connections in more than 100 countries to exchange international traffic with network operators around the world. The total volume of international voice traffic transmitted through a network of "Beeline" in 2010 was more than 8 billion minutes.
