Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, announced that net subscriber growth in Russia in July 2011 amounted to 267 000 users. The total subscriber base «Tele2 Russia" amounted to 20 million subscribers. Tele2 continues to increase the number of subscribers in all regions of its presence in Russia. Over the past 10 months the company has the second highest number of net connections to all Russian mobile operators. The company acquired two million new users in less than a year.
