MTS, the leading telecommunications operator in Russia and the CIS, announced that its consolidated subscriber base as of July 31, 2011 amounted to 104.02 million users. Thus, in July 2011, consolidated subscriber base increased by 0.03 million users. According to the vice-president of MTS Sales and Service Vadim Savchenko, purposeful work with the federal retail chains and own retail store allows a stable monthly level connections to the MTS and manage operating costs.
