With all the Google acquisition news today, I didn’t think anything could be “just” as exciting. The head honcho of CyanogenMod, Steve, has just added Samsung Mobile as a job on his Facebook account. He later confirmed his new job in the comments and affirmed to everyone that this new job has nothing to do with CyanogenMod. Whatever he is doing at Samsung, has to be a good thing. After all, they did send the CyanogenMod team a Galaxy S II to fiddle with. Samsung won the hearts of Android enthusiast everywhere with that nice gesture, perhaps even Steve. CyanogenMod is on almost 30 different devices ranging from HTC, LG, Motorola and Samsung. Downloads have already exceeded the 500k mark. Quite a feat for an ASOP build of Android. I want to take this moment to say Congrats from Gadgetu. Keep up the good work man!
