BenQ has announced the T60 mobile phone, an ultra-slim phone measuring only 8.9mm thin. With a phone unit as slim as the BenQ T60, you would expect it to have a large LCD display. But then, the BenQ T60 defies this limitation and sports a 2.2 inch QVGA TFT LCD display. Aside from the large display, the T60 also has a 3.2 megapixel camera. How BenQ manage to slipped in a camera in the BenQ T60 mobile is a wonder really. The BenQ T60 is also geared for entertainment purposes, with its multimedia player that supports MPEG4, MP3, AMR, MIDI, and SP-MIDI. Here’s more, the BenQ T60 is also loaded with 24 mb of internal memory, integrated FM radio with schedule recording function and a microSD slot for memory expansion. Got room for more? Other features of the BenQ T60 include; Bluetooth with stereo sound (A2DP), remote control support, USB connectivity and boasts of 200 hours standby time and 3 hours talktime. If you are thinking that the BenQ T60 mobile phone must be too thick by now with all its features and add-ons, think again.

Because the BenQ T60 was designed with smooth curved blade that enhances the phone’s svelte look. The design also makes the BenQ easy to slide in pockets and purses without causing too much bulges. The BenQ T60’s 5-way navigation key adds to its brilliance with its metallic texture. The BenQ T60 will be released sometime in April in Taiwan and Turkey. I’d love to see this phone goes to the international mobile market.
