According to the folks at Softpedia, a new Cybershot phone is currently in development at Sony Ericsson’s labs. Codenamed Kokura, it is reported to hit the market in 2009.
Now it is supposed to pack an impressive 12 megapixel camera and will come with a touchscreen and iPhone like interface. To top it off, it will be based on the TI3240 chipset with the Symbian OS version 9.4 and S60 interface. It’s not much of a stretch since SE is planning to launch the C905 8.1 megapixel soon, but we are sprinkling a large dash of salt on this rumour.
