Wondering when will the new and powerful HTC Touch HD hit the UK? Well wonder no more, because Orange has just announced that it will start selling the handset in the UK in early November.

Most of you already know this, but it’s worth mentioning that the main attraction of HTC Touch HD is its large 3.8 inch TFT touchscreen display that supports a 800 x 480 pixel resolution.

Have you been patiently waiting for the HTC Touch HD to become available? Here’s something that might interest you if you don’t mind traveling to a different continent just to get one. Orange has scored an exclusive deal to sell the Touch HD for this year as far as the UK is concerned, and they’ll be offering it for a very low price of £79.99 or $126 on a £40/month 18-month contract plan.

We’re not sure if it will be available contract-free, so we’ll have to wait for early November to get confirmation on that particular detail. However, if you’ve got friends over at the UK, you can ask them to get the Touch HD for you provided their willing to sign up for an Orange plan.If not, you’ll have to wait for the next batch of HTC phones to come out as the Touch
