The BenQ M7 is a 3G phone with built in A-GPS (Assisted Global Positioning System), a 2 megapixel primary camera plus a secondary one for video calling, a 2" 240x320 pixel display, Bluetooth and microSD expandable memory. It labels itself as a "dust-and-splash-resistant" device - everything is designed to be as seamless as possible, and the BenQ M7 is covered in a waterproof film. There,s a rubber cover on the USB port, and a large screw secures the battery door in place. In addition, rubberised grips mean that the BenQ M7 is easy to hold onto. The other interesting feature is the M7,s builtin A-GPS. BenQ are somewhat vague about it,s capabilities, saying that it has "handy features like a speedometer, compass, and route recording." There,s no any navigation or mapping software included in the BenQ M7. The BenQ M7 has a multimedia player, which in this case can deal with MP3, AAC and XMF audio types. It can also play back MPEG4 and 3GP video, and comes with a web browser and email client. It,s fairly light for a 3G phone at 93 grams, with a maximum talktime of 5 hours and a standby time of up to 16 days - we assume that these battery life figures related to 2G GSM operation only.
