The T270 and T280 are lightweight phones, coming in at just 82 grams. Talktime is a very useful 7 hours, which is good for a lightweight device such as this. The display is a fairly basic 128 x 160 pixel TFT panel, both the T270 and T280 have a built-in FM radio, MP3 ringtones, speakerphone and a WAP browser. Significantly, both phones also support Bluetooth. Two very similar phones, the Sony Ericsson T270 and T280 are almost identical to look at, except the T280 sports a 1.3 megapixel camera on the back. They look like expensive phones, and there's quite a lot of typical Sony Ericsson styling in them, but in fact these handsets are aimed very much at the value end of the market, but they still come with enough features to make them useful.
There isn't much else going on here, the Sony Ericsson T270 and T280 have basic personalisation and PIM functions. However, these phones offer everything that most people will need, and the inclusion of Bluetooth is nice to have.

The T270a and T280a are destined for North America, the T270i and T280i are for the rest of the world. There are two attractive colour combinations, Silver-Black and Copper-Silver. The phones should be available during Q1 2008, although no pricing is currently available.
