A low cost and lightweight clamshell, coming in at 78 grams, the B300's main selling feature is the attractive patterns on the outside of the case. Inside, Samsung say that the B300 has a easy-to-use layout, which appears to be in a classic Samsung fashion. There's not much to look at - a very basic 1.5" 128 x 128 pixel display, FM radio, Java support and WAP browser are the main features. The Samsung B300 supports MP3 ringtones, but doesn't have a full-blown media player. This is just a dual band GSM phone, but for most customers that won't matter.
Talktime is 3 hours with 8 days standby time. The price hasn't been confirmed, but we expect the B300 to cost around €65 / £50 SIM free at launch and it should hit the shops in the early summer. Of course, the B300 will be much cheaper if bought in a prepay bundle.
