Pocket-Lint reports that Nokia has officially announced it’s long awaited Nokia N85 and Nokia N79 handsets.

I’m not sure about the official part just now - haven’t seen any PR coming out of Nokia yet, the Nokia launch event site is sheduled to go up tomorrow, and the posted pictures, while looking just like the press photos should, are very few and still carry Nokia Conversations watermark - the report looks more like a premature publication.

Still, what would be official details and some press pics for Nokia N85 and Nokia N79 are out now, so we can get an early glimpse at both handsets.
Reported Nokia N85 multimedia slider specs and features will include:

* HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
* Symbian S60 fp3
* 2.6″, QVGA (240×320 px) 16M color AMOLED display
* 5 megapixel camera with geotagging support
* built-in GPS and FM transmitter
* 3.5 mm headhone jack
* dedicated gaming and music keys
* micorSD memory card

Candybar Nokia N79 will also have 5 mpx camera, S60 fp3 OS, GPS, FM transmitter and, with 3 interchangable smart covers and OS themes in a box, will focus on a more style consious user.

Both phones are expected to hit the streets next month.
